I've listed some prompts/thoughts for each fandom, but please don't feel constrained by them; they're just a jumping off point. Happy or sad endings are both fine with me, and I'm happy to receive smut.

Ginger Snaps
Brigitte Fitzgerald, Ginger Fitzgerald

I'm really into the hopelessness of this movie, as well as the dark humor throughout. It feels inevitable in the most tragic way, where you want to reach through the screen to prevent things from going wrong but know you can't. The intense bond between the sisters is the heart of it to me, and I adore how fucked up and over the top it is, as well as how weird they are generally (suicide photography project??).

• Something about them growing up, how they came to be the way they are in the movie, could be really cool. Like when did they make their suicide pact, and why?
• If you're so inclined, sistercest is totally on the table for me! I'd love to see how the dynamic in the movie carries over to a romantic/sexual relationship, and how it changes once Ginger is bitten. (I'd prefer no wolf-fucking, though.)
  
• Ginger doesn't die, Brigitte is turned, and they run around committing murder and turning more werewolves
  
• The opposite: what if Ginger was cured, where would they go from there? Would they try to find/cure other werewolves? Also, in this scenario, I'd love to see the mental aftermath of the events of the movie for both of them!
  
• Role reversal AU where Brigitte is the one turned!
  
• Brigitte escapes unscathed but is fucked in the head forever wheeeee
  
• Completely optional AU: Ginger hangs out with Jennifer Check (from Jennifer's Body) and they compare notes and commiserate

Midsommar
Dani Ardor

I love this fucked up movie so much. I love the daytime horror of it and the mingled happiness/horror of Dani joining the cult and becoming complicit by helping to kill Christian. Dani's guilt and grief and the way it's used against her is so darkly fascinating; and I love how the ending is so horrible but so satisfying at the same time. Dani's been totally broken mentally, but I couldn't help but want her to join the cult, partly due to seeing them support her after Christian treated her so badly for the entire first part.

• Something that works with the endless day aspect of it, the way it messed with the body clock and sleep and how that can distort things, could be really cool!
  
• Dani's brainwashed POV. How does she see the cult/herself/her actions? I'd also be so interested to read about other cult rituals and ways they pull her back in if she starts thinking too hard about things.
  
• We see the cult during a time of festivals and celebration, but what's their normal daily life like?
  
• What happens to Dani after the movie ends? What happened to all the other May Queens?
  
• Dani living/staying with the cult and helping to recruit new arrivals
  
• Dani escaping the cult and reclaiming her mind
  
• If you want to (I know I didn't request him so very much up to you!) a Pelle outside POV of bringing her into the cult could be so interesting!

True Detective: Night Country
Liz Danvers, Evangeline Navarro

I love the stark feeling of this show, the setting of a town that seems like it could slide off the world at a moment's notice. The magical realism, the way you're not sure what is reality and what isn't, or if it even matters, is so captivating to me. I also love the prickly relationship between the two leads, how they irritate the hell out of each other but understand each other better than anyone.

• Feel free to focus on both of the characters, or just one of them, if you like! I really love their antagonistic/grudgingly respectful relationship, and I'm also interested in them as individuals.
  
• Casefic where they work together again, or more about the previous case we see in canon
  
• Post-canon: where does Navarro go, what do they talk about when they meet?
  
• I do ship them together, and if you want to write shipfic I'd love to see how their clashing personalities fare there. They would both definitely use sex to try and get the other to do what they want; and they would probably have the most fucked up love confessions of all time. If you want to write smut, fucking while pining could be fun here. (Just a note, if you do any power dynamics I'd rather Navarro be the one in the dominant position.)
